Baska Voda

Baska Voda, a known tourist place in central Dalmatia, enchants his visitors with crystal clear sea, a breathtaking scenery and the hospitality of the inhabitants. Baska Voda still shows tracks of his more than 3000-year-old history. Here thus one finds, for example, remains of antique architecture, richly finding sites of Roman antiques as well as different tomb monuments.

Today is Baska Voda one of the most important tourist purposes of the coastal region Makarska. Already in the 1930s the first restaurants and cafés were established here. Baska Voda offers beside numerous solar hours and romantic bays also the possibility to undertake vast walks and wanderings. Of course it is also possible on the beach to follow different water sport activities.

The tourists who search a lodging in Baska Voda find numerous privately rented summer houses and villas. Even in the centre of Baska Voda there lie the small hotels which testify still today from the charm of the small fishing place.
